The event was one among a series ofactivities to mark the 94th founding anniversary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-2024).
Emphasising the significance of the Party'sfounding anniversary, Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Trung My said that over the past94 years, under the leadership and guidance of the CPV, the Vietnamese peoplehave gone from one victory to another and the achievements of the Vietnamese revolutionsince 1930 have affirmed the Party’s decisive role.
Dr. Pedro Barrios, Dean of the UCV Facultyof Humanities, said that the seminar was a chance for scholars, researchers,lecturers, and students of the university and Venezuela to understand more aboutPresident Ho Chi Minh who founded the CPV, as well as the Vietnameserevolution.
Participating scholars expressed theiradmiration for the achievements of the Doi Moi (Renewal) cause initiated andled by the Party, and emphasised that Vietnam has been anexample for nations around the world in the struggle for independence andhappiness of people.
Within the framework of the seminar, a photoexhibition featuring the land and people of Vietnam, and 35 years of friendshipand cooperation between Vietnam and Venezuela was held, together with an ao dai(Vietnam’s traditional gown) show and a conical hat dance performance./.
