VFF President sends new year greetings to Lao people

Vietnam ’s Fatherland Front (VFF) and people believed that Laos would make even greater achievements in the cause of building a peaceful, independent, democratic and prosperous country, said VFF President Huynh Dam.

In his April 5 greetings message to his Laos counterpart SisavathKeobounphanh, on the occasion of Laos’ traditional New Year festival,President Dam conveyed his best wishes to the leaders of the LaoPeople’s Revolutionary Party, the government, the Laos Front forNational Construction and the country’s citizens.

The VFF and Vietnamese people are pleased to see the great achievementsthat the Lao people have made in the recent past during their renewalprocess for national development, said the VFF leader.

He also said he believed that Laos Front for National Construction willoperate more effectively in the New Year.

The VFF President took the occasion to thank the party, state and peopleof Laos for their immeasurable help and support for Vietnamduring its struggle for national independence and national constructionand defence./.
