Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the request in Hanoi on July 10 in reply to reporters’ queries on a recent disturbance occurred in front of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia.
That some extremists in Cambodia used a pretext to stage protests in front of the Vietnamese Embassy there was a wrongful act that intentionally caused disorder in the country, Binh said, adding that it ran against the fine traditional friendship and neighbourliness between the two countries.-VNA
