Vietnam attends int'l military-security forums in Russia
A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, led by Deputy Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Be Xuan Truong, has been in Russia to attend the International Military-Technical Forum «ARMY 2018» and the International Forum “Security Week Russia” from August 19-24.

(Photo: rusarmyexpo.com)Hanoi (VNA) – A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, led by Deputy Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Be Xuan Truong, has been in Russia to attend the International Military-Technical Forum «ARMY 2018» and the International Forum “Security Week Russia” from August 19-24.
The visit is being made at the invitation of Russian Minister of Defence Gen. Sergei Shoigu.
While in Russia, the Vietnamese delegation had meetings with several partners and attended the opening of a booth of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group.
They also participated in exhibitions showcasing modern military weapons and technologies as well as activities presenting the features and operations of weapons and technical equipment on the drill-ground.
The Vietnamese delegation’s visit contributed to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.-VNA
