
Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime MinisterVuong Dinh Hue received diplomatic representatives of Indonesia, New Zealandand Australia in Hanoi on July 5 to discuss cooperation in preparation for hisupcoming visits to these countries later this month.
Concerning Indonesian Ambassador to VietnamIbnu Hadi’s suggestion on Vietjet Air’s direct route between Ho Chi Minh Cityand Jakarta, the Deputy PM stated that the Vietnamese Government stronglysupports the plan to boost trade and people-to-people exchange.
The official affirmed Vietnam always attachesimportance to multifaceted cooperation with Indonesia - its strategic partner.
Talking to New Zealand Ambassador toVietnam Wendy Matthews, Hue said Vietnam wants to work further with the countryin agriculture, education-training, and disaster-risk management.
The two sides should enhance coordinationat multilateral forums and study the elevation of relations from comprehensivepartnership to strategic partnership, he added.
The Deputy PM told deputy head of theAustralian Embassy Mission to Vietnam Layton Pike that Vietnam appreciates economic-trade-investmentties with Australia and is willing to discuss affairs related to both nationsfor stronger collaboration and common prosperity.-VNA
