The Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA) on April 16 announced a new joint master’s programme with Belgium ’s University Commission toward Development (CUD) in rural economics and sociology.
The programme will provide 15 scholarships for candidates from Cambodia , Laos and Vietnam .
Candidates are selected basing on English proficiency, academic performance and relevant work experience in the field of agriculture, economics and sociology.
The joint training programme was first started in 2008 and it is fully funded by the CUD.
The programme is in line with the university’s training targets and the government’s strategy of rural and agriculture development, said Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Vien, HUA Principal./.
