Cambodia from Dec. 21-24.
On Dec. 22, the Vietnamese delegation held talks with a delegation of the Cambodian Justice Ministry, headed by Minister Ang Vong Vattana.
The two sides exchanged professional experiences and discussed measures to further boost cooperation between the two ministries in many areas.
The two ministers also mentioned a draft agreement mutual legal assistance in civil and trade affairs between the two ministries, which is aimed to facilitate the settlement of disputes in the areas.
After talks, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in strengthening judicial and law-making capacity as well personnel training. Under the document, the Vietnamese Justice Ministry will help train officials for Cambodian Justice Ministry.
During the visit, Minister Cuong paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Hun Sen and had working sessions with Chief Judge of the Supreme Court Dith Munty and General Prosecutor Chea Leang./.
