A delegation from the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association visited the southern province of Dong Nai on August 1 to attend an exchange programme between the two peoples in the locality.
The delegation to the third Vietnam-Cambodia people cooperation and friendship meeting programme, due to kick off on August 2, is led by Standing Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, who is also President of the association.
The programme is an event is of significance, affirming the fine neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the programme from August 1-6, a host of activities will take place such as the visits to the Tran Bien Literature Temple in Dong Nai province, the Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, and Landmark 314, the final numerical marker on the Vietnam-Cambodia land border route in the southern province of Kien Giang .
In addition, arts performance exchanges and talks will be held.-VNA
