Vietnam concerned for citizens in Libya

Phuong Nga has raised concerns over the unrest in Libya as well as
the fate of Vietnamese citizens there.
The
spokeswoman made the statement on February 22 in response to reporters’
question about Vietnam’s reaction to the situation in the north
African nation.
Nga said “Vietnam is concerned
for current developments in Libya and hopes that the political
situation in Libya will be brought to normal soon.”
“Some 10,000 Vietnamese are working and living in Libya. The
Foreign Ministry has instructed the Vietnamese embassy in Libya to
closely follow the developments and work with responsible agencies to
take immediate measures just in case so as to ensure safety for guest
workers and overseas Vietnamese”./.
