Vietnam congratulates China on National Day

Vietnamese leaders have sent congratulations to China on the occasion of its 66th National Day (October 1, 1949).

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung have extended their congratulations to Chinese leaders on the occasion of China’s 66 th National Day (October 1, 1949).

In the congratulatory messages sent to Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang, the Vietnamese leaders applauded China on its significant achievements over the past 66 years, especially during the 37-year implementation of its reform and open-door policy.

They expressed their delight at the development in the two countries’ relations and confirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people attach importance to developing stable and healthy rapports with China.

Vietnam is willing to work with the Chinese side to reinforce and promote the bilateral traditional friendship while enhancing equal and mutually beneficial collaboration and satisfactorily addressing differences in a bid to further the two nations’ comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh conveyed his congratulations to Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi and Foreign Minister Wang Yi./.
