Vietnam congratulates Hassan Rouhani on his re-election as President of Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said on May 24.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam congratulates Hassan Rouhani onhis re-election as President of Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi ThuHang said on May 24.

“We believe that Iran will continue to reap even greaterachievements in the cause of peaceful construction and development,” Hang said.

She stressed that Vietnam values the contribution thatPresident Hassan Rouhani has made to the development of Vietnam-Iran relationsin the past.

“We hope the friendship and multi-faceted cooperationbetween the two countries will continue to grow in the interest of the two peoples,and for the sake of peace, stability, cooperation in the region and the worldas a whole,” the spokesperson said.-VNA

These have been tested in practice and refined through lessons drawn from 40 years of Doi Moi (renewal), before being distilled and embedded into the draft documents for consideration and adoption at the landmark gathering.
