Vietnam creates positive conditions for Finnish investors

Ngan made the remarks at a reception in Hanoi on April 8 forvisiting Chair of the Audit Committee of the Finnish Parliament TuijaBrax, where she also said that consolidating and strengtheningfriendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Finland is a priority ofVietnam ’s foreign policy.

The NA ViceChairwoman highly valued Finland’s assistance to Vietnam andsuggested the country consider adjusting ODA orientations in line withVietnam ’s needs, and focus on cooperation in trade policy, climatechange, energy and clean technology.

Cooperationbetween the two legislative bodies has increased considerably, she said,adding that the visit will be a chance for the two sides to exchangeand share experiences, therefore improving the quality of the VietnameseNA’s law making and operations.

For her part, TuijaBrax said Finland prioritises economic, trade and investmentcooperation in its relationship with Vietnam , describing it as animportant activity that helps boost the Finland-Vietnam traditionalfriendship and multi-faceted cooperation.

TheFinnish delegation earlier held working sessions with the NA’s Financeand Budget, and Economic Committees, as well as the State Audit ofVietnam.

At the meetings, the two sides agreed toescalate cooperation and experience sharing, and boost visits of the twolegislative bodies’ leaders in the time to come.-VNA
