Vietnam fell to sixth place in the Southeast Asia rankings this month after losing to the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan in the qualifying round for the 2015 Asian Cup 2015.

Vietnam lost places in the FIFA world rankings and were leapfrogged by Singapore and Malaysia .

In the Southeast Asia rankings, the Philippines remain on top after jumping four places to 133rd in the world, while Myanmar overtook Thailand for second place.

In Asia, Iran are top of the pile at 45th in world rankings after passing Japan who dropped to 48th.

Third and fourth place belong to the Republic of Korea and Australia, while Uzbekistan fell to fifth from third.-VNA
