Redefining children as those under the age of 18 is key to helping younger people access child protection services before they are legally classed as an adult.
Vietnam, together with 40 countries worldwide, has aligned itself to the voluntary global pledge “For every child, every right” to ensure no one is left behind, and to support every child to reach their full potential, said Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, head of Vietnam’s permanent mission to the UN on September 25.
