The Vietnamese Embassy in France and French postal service firm La Poste issued a set of stamps to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties on April 12.

Paris (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in France and French postalservice firm La Poste issued a set of stamps to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties on April 12.

The set includes two templates with thefirst featuring a logo marking 45 years of bilateral diplomatic ties drawn byReika Firrincieli, a student at Hanoi’s Alexandre Yersin International School.

The logo was released at a ceremony in Hanoion January 24 to begin activities in celebration of the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 5th anniversary of thestrategic partnership.

The second template was designed by theElite Cultural Vietnam (ECV) office, highlighting the five-year-old strategicpartnership using the two countries’ flags.

This is the fourth set of stamps issued bythe Vietnamese Embassy in France and La Poste. The first set was released in2008, featuring Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay and France’s Strait of Bonifacio – twoUNESCO-recognised world heritage sites.

The second was about Alexandre Yersin, aFrench scientist who dedicated most of his life to Vietnam. It was lauched in2013 on the occasion of his 150th birthday.

The third set was issued in 2015, featuringthe Hanoi Opera House, Truong Tien bridge in the central province of ThuaThien-Hue and Nha Rong port in Ho Chi Minh City – three French architectural worksin the three regions of Vietnam.-VNA

PM attends memorial service for 731 fallen soldiers in Ho Chi Minh City

From June 23 to October 5, Team K74 and other forces recovered 731 sets of martyrs’ remains from the park. Biological samples and DNA samples collected from relatives of unidentified fallen soldiers are being analysed and stored in the national gene bank to support identification efforts.

Saigon River pedestrian bridge set to be joined on October 21

The assembly comprises a main bridge structure weighing about 1,400 tonnes and a specialised steel supporting frame weighing around 2,000 tonnes. During testing, about 30 self-propelled modular transporters were used to lift the assembly 40cm off the ground for technical inspections. Sensors and monitoring equipment recorded key parameters.

Hanoi breaks ground on 299-hectare safari park
