Certificates of merit and badges in the cause of education in Vietnam were presented to four universities and seven management officials and lecturers in Russia.
A ceremony to present the awards was held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow on Feb. 3.
The honour was made in recognition of their contributions to Vietnam’s education and training sector, Ambassador Bui Dinh Dinh said.
Since the two countries established diplomatic ties, the former Soviet Union and Russia today have helped train 52,000 Vietnamese engineers and specialists in different areas, he added.
Alexei Talonov from Russia’s Education and Science Ministry congratulated Russian awardees and expressed his belief in the bright future of the two countries’ cooperation in education and training./.
