Addressing theevent, Doan thanked the Indian State , Government and people fortheir active contributions to the success of the Friendship Year.
She highlighted practical activities marking the 40 th anniversary ofbilateral diplomatic ties and five years of the two countries’strategic partnership, including seminars on future orientations forbilateral ties, business forums, photo exhibitions and art performances.
These activities helped bring the two peoplescloser and create a momentum for the deeper and more sustainabledevelopment of the bilateral ties, she stressed.
Doan said she hopes that India will share its experience withVietnam , especially in education-training, science-technology,pharmaceuticals, maritime and oceanic research, and oil and gasexploitation.
Ansari stressed that India valuesits relations with Vietnam , and expressed his belief that the goalof raising two-way trade to 7 billion USD will be reached in 2015.
He affirmed that India is ready to continue giving preferentialcredits to Vietnam to implement its projects, especially ininfrastructure.
The opening of an Indian culturalcentre in Hanoi in 2013 will help Vietnamese people get moreexperience about India , thus fostering the cultural cooperation andfriendship between the two nations, he added.
