The State Audit of Vietnam and the Supreme Audit Board of Indonesia (BKPRI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation in Bali , Indonesia on Nov. 15.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietnamese Chief Auditor Dinh Tien Dung stressed that Vietnam attaches importance to developing relations with State audit agencies in ASEAN, including Indonesia .
He spoke highly of BKPRI’s professional experience and expressed his belief that the bilateral cooperation will bring benefits to both sides, helping improve the role and position of the two agencies in public financial management as well as boost the development of the ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI).
Under the MoU, the two sides will boost cooperation in audit methods in the public sector and professional training as well as organise joint audit projects in areas of mutual concern.
The signing is part of the Bali visit by a delegation of the State Audit of Vietnam, led by Chief Auditor Dinh Tien Dung to attend the first Congress of the ASEANSAI, which will take place on Nov. 16./.
