Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam International Motor Show 2017 (VIMS 2017) will open at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on October 25, with the participation of 13 auto, motorbike and yacht brands.
Organisers said in addition to nine familiar brands such as Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Volkswagen, Volvo, DFM and SsangYong, this year’s event will see three imported brands to be present for the first time namely Harley-Davidson, Triumph and Royal Enfield, and yacht brand Flyer.
Motor lovers will witness the unveiling of special versions of Audi TT and Audi Q3 and the launch of new models such as Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion 2017, Volkswagen Beetle Dune 2017, The New Volvo XC60, Subaru XV 2.0is, and SsangYong G4 Rexton on a space of over 10,000 sq.m.
Especially, unique ancient models and luxury motorboat Flyer 7.7 will be also displayed at the event.
Outside the display area, visitors will have a chance to see adventuresome Subaru motor performances by famous driver Russ Swift from the UK as well as test-drive signature cars of participating brands.
Lasting until October 29, the show is expected to attract 125,000 visitors.-VNA
