Vietnam is maintaining a close watch on the situation in Ukraine, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Hai Binh said on March 5.
“Vietnam hopes that stability will resume in Ukraine soon and all issues will be solved by law in the Ukrainian people’s interests, and for peace and development in the region and the world,” Binh said in response to reporters’ question on Vietnam’s reaction to recent developments in the European country.
Vietnam is concerned and has asked Ukraine to ensure the security and safety of people and property for the Vietnamese community living, studying and doing business in the country, he emphasised.-VNA
