Chairmanof the CPV Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu made the recommendationduring a meeting with his Lao counterpart Bunthoong Chitmany, who is also DeputyPrime Minister and Government Inspector General of Laos, in Hanoi on July 26.
Tucongratulated the Lao Party, State and people on important achievements theyhave reaped after two years of implementing the Resolution of the 10th National Congress of the LPRP, including contributions by the LPRP CentralCommittee’s Inspection Commission and the Lao Government Inspectorate.
Theofficial said after three years of performing the Resolution of the 12th NationalCongress of the CPV, Vietnam has seen positive progress in all fields despite awide range of difficulties and challenges. Vietnam has successfully stabilised itsmacro-economy, curbed inflation, ensured social security and firmly maintaineddefence and security, he said.
Thecountry has also stepped up efforts to fortify the Party, strengthen thepolitical system and intensify the fight against corruption, while theinspection and supervision work has been enhanced, Tu added.
BunthoongChitmany briefed his host about Laos’ achievements in socio-economicdevelopment and politics in the recent past.
Heaffirmed that the Party, State and people of Laos will join hands with Vietnamto preserve and nurture the special solidarity between the two nations.-VNA
