Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Dung, Deputy Chairman of the VietnamPeople’s Army’s General Department of Politics, received a delegationfrom the Laos ’s Emulation and Reward Institute in Hanoi on Sept.23.
Working with the Lao delegation, Major General Nguyen ThanhTuan, Head of the Information and Training Department, on behalf ofVietnam’s Defence Ministry’s Emulation and Reward Council, introducedthe guests to emulation and reward works and movements in the army andgave a report on the emulation and reward of Vietnamese military expertsand voluntary soldiers, who used to work in Laos.
Head of theLao delegation, Deputy Director of the Emulation and Reward Instituteunder the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee’sOrganisation and Personnel Board, Ye Lo Chiava expressed thanks to thegreat assistance from the Vietnamese people and army to Laos overthe past years and wished the Laos-Vietnam special friendship andsolidarity promoted.
The Lao delegation was also scheduled to visit several units of the Vietnam People’s Army./.
