At an April 12 meeting with Lao National Assembly Chairman Pany Zathotu, Hai extended his congratulations on the success of the ninth National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and his greetings to Lao traditional Boun Pimai (New Year) festival.
He informed the Lao NA leader on outcomes of the delegation’s first working day with cooperation between HCM City and Vientiane to be strengthened in numerous areas.
For his part, the Lao NA chief spoke highly of the effective investment cooperation of HCM City in Laos .
He stressed that the Party, State and NA of Laos will make every effort to bolster comprehensive relations between the two countries.
On the same day, Hai attended a ceremony to start construction of Vientiane-HCM City Friendship High School upgrading project./.
