Officials from the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation are running a course in Hanoi starting on October 9, to exchange experiences with their counterparts from the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC).

During the course, the officials from Laos will hear reports on mass mobilisation in the new era, especially for ethnic minority people and religious followers, the Vietnamese Party and State’s policies on ethnic and religious affairs as well as the regulations on grassroots democracy and mass mobilisation when building new rural areas.

Communication campaigns on solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos as well as ways of updating the Fatherland Front and other mass organisations’ operations will also be outlined.

The officials from Laos will work with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and exchange their experiences of mass mobilisation with others provinces across the country, including Hanoi , Ninh Binh, Hung Yen and Quang Ninh.

The course, which runs until October 21, is expected to help consolidate and strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation shown between Vietnam and Laos. /.
