Vietnam promotes tourism via Viber platform

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) on June 22 introduced its account on Viber platform as a new channel for holidaymakers to access official information and recommendations about the country's tourism.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) on June 22introduced its account on Viber platform as a new channel for holidaymakers toaccess official information and recommendations about the country's tourism.

With the Viberaccount, VNAT will send messages recommending interesting destinations andtourist activities for tourists during this summer tourism season.

The VNAT accountis authenticated with a green checkmark. Its messages will be displayed with vividframes in a message interface, providing interactive buttons and automatic replies.Users can interact, get more information, images, choose to watch videos oraccess the website of the VNAT through simple and convenient steps.

Previously, VNAThad also established communication channels on many social networks such asZalo, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, showing its determination inapplying digital transformation and information technology topromote tourism in Vietnam./.

Search volume for Vietnam’s tourism ranks 7th globally

The top 10 most searched Vietnamese destinations were Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Vung Tau, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, and Hue. Notably, Vung Tau and Ninh Binh recorded the highest growth in search volume with over 75%.

Vietnam, Italy promote tourism cooperation

VNAT Director Nguyen Trung Khanh said that Vietnam identifies Italy as one of the key markets in Europe. Italian tourists are famous for their refined aesthetic taste, deep understanding of culture, art and history and for their passion for discovering original values and sophistication in experiences.
