Vietnam, Sudan expand cooperation in labour, social affairs

Vietnam and Sudan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote their technical cooperation in labour and social affairs.
Vietnam and Sudan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)to promote their technical cooperation in labour and social affairs.

The MoU was inked between the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids andSocial Affairs (MoLISA) and the Sudanese Ministry of Human ResourcesDevelopment and Labour on November 6 in Hanoi.
 
It focuses onincreasing the exchange of knowledge and experience in povertyreduction, vocational training, and labour safety.

The twoministries will exchange working delegations, hold dialogues on makingand implementing labour and social affairs-related policies.

The MoU is valid for five years and will be automatically extended for another five years at the end of the first term.

Vietnam and Sudan established diplomatic relations in 1969.The two countries are promoting their cooperation with particularattention on agriculture.-VNA

NA’s 9th session set to make landmark institutional changes

Legislators will look into and adopt a resolution amending and supplementing several articles to the Constitution 2013, the top legislator said, describing this a strategic task of both political and legal significance to institutionalise the Party’s major policies, especially the reorganisation of the state apparatus towards a streamlined and efficient structure that is closer to the people and more responsive to reality.

Vietnam, Sri Lanka vow to enhance ties in more open, breakthrough direction

Noting that Vietnam and Sri Lanka still have great potential in economic, trade and investment collaboration, the two leaders vowed to take stronger measures to increase two-way trade and investment, aiming for bilateral trade turnover of 1 billion USD, and considering the possibility of negotiating and signing a bilateral free trade agreement when conditions permit.
