Vietnam constantly supports peace, stability and denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi said on March 8.
Responding to reporters’ queries about Vietnam’s reaction to the United Nations Security Council’s recent passage of Resolution 2094 regarding nuclear issues and current developments on the Korean Peninsula, Nghi said all of the council’s resolutions concerning the nuclear matter should be strictly followed.
Vietnam hopes that the concerned parties will remain calm and refrain from any moves that could heat up the tension while actively promoting dialogue and seeking peaceful solutions for problems on the Korean Peninsula, thus helping maintain peace and stability in the region and the world, the official said.-VNA
