Vietnam tourism wins world's awards

The New York-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure has called a visit to Vietnam one of the world’s 21 life-changing trips that everyone should experience at least once.

My Khe Beach in central Vietnam has been named among the 10 best beaches in Asia, as voted on by readers of renowned travel website TripAdvisor.

Vietnam's tourism sector officially entered the recovery stage after a long hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Acknowledging an increase in demand of search for destinations, US-based online booking travel agency Booking.com announced top 10 most hospitable tourist destinations in Vietnam in 2022.

Vietnam welcomed 1.8 million foreign arrivals in January and February, a 36.6-fold increase year-on-year, according to the General Statistics Office.

Canadian magazine The Travel has ranked Hanoi in sixth place on a list of the 10 most beautiful destinations in Southeast Asia.
