Lao Cai (VNA) – A webinar between border guards of thenorthwestern provinces of Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Ha Giang and adelegation from China’s Yunnan provincial Immigration General Checkpoint took place on November 23.

At the event, both sides agreed to lift bilateral border defence cooperationmechanism to a new height. Once the COVID-19 pandemic is under control,they will continue holding friendship exchanges to share professionalexpertise.

Amid the pandemic, theyflexibly and creatively created conditions for the circulation of goods betweenthe two nations. Important achievements were made in cooperation mechanisms forlegal enforcement such as joint patrols and joint work to deal with cases.

The Vietnamese side donated43,500 medical masks and 960 bottles of sanitiser to China. Meanwhile, Chinaalso handed over 46,000 medical masks, 200 protective suits, 30 boxes ofsanitiser and 50 body temperature scanners to Vietnam./.

The circular establishes a unified benchmark for foreign language proficiency across the national education system, providing a foundation for curriculum design, teaching, testing, assessment, and certification. Two wanted for abusing religious cover to undermine national unity policy

The fugitives are Di (also known as Siu Di), born in 1941, and Dinh Yum (also known as Dinh Jum or Ba Koih), born in 1963, from Ba Na ethnic minority group in Gia Lai province, and hold Vietnamese nationality. They have been charged under Clause 1, Article 116 of the Penal Code for undermining the national unity policy.

Support delivered to Khmer households for traditional New Year

The province's delegation of National Assembly deputies, in coordination with relevant agencies, presented 600 gifts across 11 communes, including 100 in Tap Son commune and 50 in each of the others. The programme, worth 300 million VND (11,300 USD), was funded by Agribank’s Vinh Long branch.
