welcome new year 2010 and the coming Lunar New Year (Tet holidays).
The get-together was co-organised by the Vietnamese embassy in Cuba and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Ambassador Vo Chi Cong highlighted Vietnam’s achievements in 2009.
He also wished the Vietnamese community in Cuba good health and happiness to continue making contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.
On the occasion, the organising board raised fund in support of victims of recent floods and storms in the central region of Vietnam./.
