At the event, Ambassador Duong Minh recalled major cooperation activities between Vietnam and Cuba last year, especially the visits of both sides’ senior officials.
The diplomat extended the best wishes to the community on the New Year, hoping they will continue making contributions to the bilateral friendship.
On the occasion, he presented gifts and certificates of merit to Vietnamese students with outstanding performance in the 2014-2015 academic year.
The gathering featured Vietnam’s traditional culinary delights, a musical concert and a fund-raising lottery.-VNA
