The fair has attracted enterprises from almost 50 countries and territories across the world. The Vietnamese firms attending are mainly involved in the fields of agriculture and handicrafts.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on September 6, the President of China’s Commercial Federation, Zhang Zhigang, highlighted the fair’s significance.
He stated that the fair provides a forum for the exhibitors to promote trade and strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Chinese and regional and global businesses.
Hoang Thi My Huyen, speaking for a Vietnamese business, said that the event, as well as several other fairs across China, has given Vietnamese firms an excellent opportunity to promote their products and services, as well as seek out new partners.-VNA
