Bui Quang Huy, president of the Vietnamese association in the city said this year his organisation will work with local administration to organise a cultural week, a Mid-Autumn Festival among other cultural and sport activities as part of the “Vietnam Year in Germany ” to mark the 35 th anniversary of Vietnam-Germany diplomatic ties.

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Do Hoa Binh, the two governments have decided to organise the Vietnam Year in Germany and the Germany Year in Vietnam with various activities in politics, economics, culture and people’s exchange throughout the year so as to promote the distinctive identity of the culture, history and people of each country.
