Tel Aviv (VNA) – A group of students and teachers from Hanoi – Amsterdam High School took part in a study trip on robotics and startups at Hakfar HaYarok High School in Tel Aviv, Israel from August 2-11.

During their 10-day stay, they were divided into small groups to learn firsthand about different aspects of robot manufacturing and experienced one of the youngest and most dynamic environments for startups in Israel.

The students were equipped with fundamental knowledge in robotic technology to be capable of establishing a robotics centre after returning to Vietnam.

Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Meira Eilon Shahar said cooperation in education has been the main focus of the Vietnam – Israel partnership.

The joint project between the two high schools would be a first step for Vietnam to follow the success of Hakfar HaYarok in robotics education as well as developing startup ideas and software. It also facilitates the establishment of an ecosystem for startups in Vietnam, she added.

The ambassador unveiled that the Israeli Embassy in Hanoi will team up with FPT Group in Vietnam and Green Blitz, a robotics team of Hakfar HaYarok, to set up the first robotics centre in Hanoi – Amsterdam High School.-VNA
