Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA), FPT Online and Funtap signed a cooperation agreement to push national e-sport movement and especially the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to a new height in a ceremony on April 25 in Hanoi.
The VIRESA's President Do Viet Hung said that the three sides will coordinate regularly and in a long term in strategic consulting, building and developing e-sports communities to promote their comprehensive and systematic development in Vietnam.
They will also seek and cooperate with capable and reputable businesses working in the field of e-sports and games to bring e-sport-related game products to Vietnam with a view to developing and diversifying the national e-sport community.
Other activities are introducing, promoting, and developing suitable products and services including workshops, organisation, and tournaments sponsor and combining resources to develop playgrounds and competition platforms for Vietnam's e-sports operation.
Particularly, for MLBB, the three parties will prepare the best conditions to support the national teams in training and competing in local and international events such as SEA Games, Asian Games and Asian E-sports Games (AEG).
The representative from VIRESA also affirmed that this will be an important milestone that opens up new opportunities for the country's e-sports industry in the future, thereby attracting the participation of prestigious domestic and international e-sports organisations to contribute to the development of the e-sports industry in Vietnam./.
