Deputy Head of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism HoangThi Diep told the opening session of a two-day Hanoi internationalworkshop on December 16 that the hospitality industry had intensifiedinvestment in promoting iconic tourism images of national destinationsin foreign markets.

The industry has launched anexclusive TV channel on tourism, contributing to increasing publicawareness about green tourism and tapping natural advantages as well ascultural and historic interests and attracting investment inhospitality.

The tourism TV channel has alsoprovided information on services and products for domestic holidaymakersand foreign tourists, Diep reported.

The two-dayworkshop attracted 150 participants, including representatives from theUN World Tourism Organisation, international experts and travel agentexecutives..,
