Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tran Ngoc Thach presented his credentials to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi .
At the ceremony, the newly accredited ambassador conveyed State President Truong Tan Sang’s regards and best wishes to the President of UAE. He said during his term, he will give priority to boosting bilateral ties towards multifaceted cooperation in line with the two governments and people’s aspirations.
He said that the Vietnam-UAE relations have developed markedly during 19 years after the two sides established their diplomatic ties, creating a foundation for cooperation in all sectors, especially in trade and investment.
For his part, President Nahyan voiced his thanks to the Vietnamese Government, affirming that the United Arab Emirates will boost the two countries’ relations.
He expressed his hope that Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang will visit the UAE in near future./.
