VN, Japan enhance cooperation in combating crimes

MinisterAnh made the statement while receiving visiting Chairman of Japan’sNational Commission on Public Safety (NCPA) Hiroshi Nakai in Hanoion August 18.

The friendly cooperation betweenVietnam and Japan has been expanded in various fields under thespirit of the strategic partnership that was defined by the twocountries’ senior leaders, he said.

He confirmedthat the collaboration between Vietnam ’s Ministry of Public Securityand the NCPA and the National Police Agency of Japan in fightingtransnational crimes has recorded certain results.

Nakai affirmed that the discussed orientations for cooperation would be a foundation for the implementation in the future.

He expressed his belief that the delegation’s visit would makeimportant contributions to consolidating the special friendship betweenJapan and Vietnam./.
