Vietnamese students have won first and second prizes for Russian proficiency at the first International Russian Language Olympics held recently in Russia.
They also won two second prizes from the drawing contest and two other second prizes from the poetry recitation event of the Olympics, which was held for foreign students who are living and studying in Russia.
A ceremony to present prizes was held in Moscow on March 17.
The Olympics, jointly organised by the Moscow Department of Education and several Russian education organisations, was participated by 300 students of 34 countries.
The event aimed to strengthen friendship among nations and promote understanding of Russian culture, history, traditions and customs./.
