The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked the Vietnamese Embassies inThailand and Cambodia to contact authorities of their host countriesto help search for fishermen on board a ship from Ca Mau province thatsank in waters of the Gulf of Thailand on January 2.
The Ministry has also sent diplomatic notes to the Embassies of Thailand and Cambodia in Hanoi on this issue.
At present, the Vietnamese Embassies in Thailand and Cambodiaare coordinating with Vietnamese and foreign authorised agencies in thesearch.
The CM 99219 ship with 11 fishermen onboard was reported to be wrecked by an unidentified vessel in the Gulfof Thailand. /.
