The Steering Committee for External Information Service, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, the Vietnam News Agency, and relevant agencies launched the ninth National External Information Service Awards on March 29.

A golden tourism route connecting six destinations of Vietnam and China was launched on March 28, expected to help the two countries enhance cross-border tourism links.

Phu Quoc island city in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors in the first quarter of 2023, a rise of 43% year on year.

Introduced to Vietnam in the mid-nineteenth century, coffee has become one of the country’s main industrial crops. Vietnam is now the world’s largest producer of Robusta and second largest coffee exporter. Last year, its earnings from overseas shipments of the products hit a record high of about 4 billion USD, up 32% annually.

Domestic tuna exporters are targeting promising small markets to get out of current difficulties amid economic fluctuations in big importing countries.
