VNA, PetroVietnam ink cooperation deal

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) signed a cooperation agreement in Hanoi on August 6.
The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) signed a cooperation agreement in Hanoi on August 6.

Under the terms of the agreement, VNA will provide information about the operations and achievements of PetroVietnam to readers both in and outside the country via its information channels and publications.

In return, PetroVietnam will create favourable conditions for VNA reporters and editors to perform their duties, and provide accurate information for VNA to update its readers.

The two dies will also work together in several aspects for mutual benefits.

The group’s chairman Dinh La Thang said the signing of the compact will enable the two agencies to cooperate more effectively during the process of development and international integration, bringing practical benefits to local businesses.

VNA General Director Tran Mai Huong said the agreement will facilitate the development of each agency, especially when Vietnam is integrating more deeply into the world economy./.
