VN’s jigsaw mind map sets Guinness record

The Guinness World Records on September 25 recognised a jigsaw mind map with an image of the Vietnamese map as the largest and most pieces in the world.
The Guinness World Records on September 25 recognised a jigsaw mind mapwith an image of the Vietnamese map as the largest and most pieces inthe world.

The map was assembled manually from 551,232 pieces by 1,600 students and200 volunteers of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Itspreads out over an area of 660 square metres.

The worktakes the form of a pink lotus with six petals, each of which representsa specific field of Vietnam: human beings, geography, history, culture,education and economy.

The jigsaw creation broke theGuinness World Record held earlier by Singapore with 212,323 pieces in2002 and by China with its 600 square metre map./.

The international project "Russian language in Vietnam: Dialogue between cultures" will take place in person from October 6–16, at educational institutions across Vietnam.
