WB helps central region cope with natural disaster

Over 80 representatives from 10 regional cities and provinces including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Binh Dinh and Ninh Thuan attended the event.
Following the community-based natural disaster risk management (WB4) project which was implemented in the central region from 2005-2010, the 150 million USD WB5 project was loaned by the WB, aiming to strengthen the capacity to mitigate and deal with natural disasters in Vietnam
The project is to be carried out for five years from 2012-2016./.
