held in Luang Prabang ancient capital of Laos on Nov. 15.
Addressing the function, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Tran Quang Quy said the school for Laos covers an area of nearly 5,000 sq m and is a key project of the Vietnam-Laos friendship year 2012.
The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam is the owner of the project which has a total investment of more than 56 billion VND.
On behalf of the local authorities, Mayor Sompheng Saysompheng thanked the Vietnamese Party, Government and people for their support for the construction of many works in Luang Prabang province, helping reduce poverty and increase social security, thus contributing to the provincial socio-economic development./.
