Linh Thanh Group started the construction of a high-quality calcium carbonate nano powder production and exploitation plant on June 21 in Tuyen Hoa district in the central province of Quang Binh.
The project has a total investment capital of 56 million USD, 23 million USD of which will be used for the first phase.
This is the first time Vietnam has applied high-quality calcium carbonate production technology using limestone following the modern technology line of Ferlax , Italy .
Calcium carbonate is used in sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic chemicals and plastic. At present, the country imports more than 75,000 tonnes of calcium carbonate every year./.
