During the event that featurestravel and tourist, tourism officials from Myanmar , Cambodia ,Indonesia and the Philippines agreed to work on ASEAN Common SmartVisa and signed the Statement of Intent on Smart Visa.
They expressed their wish to work with relevant Government agencies tofacilitate travel in the region by developing a common smart visasystem.
According to a press release issued on theday, the statement of intent is part of joint efforts to improve growthof national and regional travel and tourist sectors along with socialintegration.
On the day, travel and touristhigh-level meetings took place, aiming at accelerating ASEAN'sintegration and dialogue with Myanmar on business and energydevelopment.
Themed “Courageous Transformation forInclusion and Integration”, the three-day forum draws over 900delegates, including over 500 business executives from 55 countriesnationwide.-VNA
