World’s largest woollen blanket completed

The Dalat Academy said on March 21 that it has accomplished a 220 sq.m woollen blanket – which is allegedly considered the world’s largest of it kind.
The Dalat Academy said on March 21 that it has accomplished a 220 sq.m woollen blanket – which is allegedly considered the world’s largest of it kind.

The blanket was sewed from 20,000 woollen pieces which have been knitted by around a thousand of residents in the French city of Montpellier and the city of Da Lat , including students, teachers and disabled people.

As a joint initiative of the France-based Association of Da Lat’s Friends in the Footprints of Doctor Yersin and the DaLat Academy, the blanket will be auctioned to raise funds for Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO) victims./.
