Youth volunteers in Hanoi to support and care for F0 cases at home

This is one of a series of activities of the Hanoi Youth Union to support the city during the COVID-19 epidemic.

For two weeks, Quoc Anh - a student at the University of Culture (Hanoi) - always leaves home early and returns late to lend a hand to the medical station in O Cho Dua ward (Dong Da district, Hanoi) in supporting COVID-19 patients, who are doing self isolations at home.

This is one of a series of activities of the Hanoi Youth Union to support the city during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Currently, the O Cho Dua ward’s anti-COVID-19 team has around 100 members, including 28 young people who actively participate in activities related to epidemic prevention.

They are doing various tasks at the local medical station such as calling each patient to get necessary information;  making a list of drugs for patients under the guidance of professional medical staff; delivering drugs to patients; measuring SPO2 and delivering oxygen tanks to patients in their homes, continuously from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Thanks to the youth force, the local medical team in the ward is relieved of their burden, thereby examining, questioning, and treating F0 patients more effectively, supporting them both physically and mentally, helping them have reliable, solid support to fight the COVID-19 epidemic./.
