The award was made in recognition of the officials’ support of the development of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court (VSPC) and their contribution to the cooperation between Vietnam and their respective countries in the field.

The insignia was conferred by VSPC’s Chief Judge Truong Hoa Binh at a ceremony in Hanoi on September 7, in coincidence with the 70 th founding anniversary of the court (September 13).

Addressing the event, Binh recalled the day when President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree to establish a military court 70 years ago, marking the birth of the court sector in the country.
He hailed the valuable support of the Cambodian and Lao courts for their Vietnamese counterpart and voiced his belief that the ties among courts of the three countries will continue to be tightened in the time ahead.-VNA
